Basics of Craps
Craps is the one of the most exciting and fast game iin casino. It is available to play in online casinos. You can find craps game in most online casinos. Rushmore US or EU casino is available to play craps.
he player must handle the dice with one hand only when throwing and the dice must hit the walls on the opposite end of the table. In the event that one or both dice are thrown off the table, they must be inspected (usually by the stickman) before putting them back into play.

The craps table can accommodate up to about 20 players, who each get a round of throws or at ’shooting’ the dice. If you don’t want to throw the dice, you can bet on the thrower. Several types of bets can be made on the table action. The casino crew consist of a stickman, boxman and two dealers.

The first roll of the dice in a betting round is called the Come Out roll – a new game in Craps begins with the Come Out roll. A Come Out roll can be made only when the previous shooter fails to make a winning roll, that is, fails to make the Point or seven out.

A new game then begins with a new shooter. If the current shooter does make his Point, the dice are returned to him and he then begins the new Come Out roll. This is a continuation of that shooter’s roll, although technically, the Come Out roll identifies a new game about to begin.

When the shooter fails to make his or her Point, the dice are then offered to the next player for a new Come Out roll and the game continues in the same manner. The new shooter will be the person directly next to the left of the previous shooter – so the game moves in a clockwise fashion around the craps table.

The dice are rolled across the craps table layout. The layout is divided into three areas – two side areas separated by a center one. Each side area is the mirror reflection of the other and contains the following: Pass and Don’t Pass line bets, Come and Don’t Come bets, Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets. The center area is shared by both side areas and contains the Proposition bets.

Pass bets win when the come out roll is 7 or 11, while pass bets lose when the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12. Don’t bets lose when the come out roll is 7 or 11, and don’t bets win when the come out roll is 2 or 3. Don’t bets tie when the come out roll is 12 (2 in some casinos; the ‘Bar’ roll on the layout indicates which roll is treated as a tie).

Passline Bet
A simple passline bet works like this. You place your bet on the passline before a new shooter begins his roll. This is known as the come out roll. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 you win. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12, you lose. If the shooter rolls any other number, that number becomes the point number. The shooter must roll that number again before a seven is rolled. If that happens, you win even money for your passline bet. If a seven is rolled before the point number is rolled again, you lose.

Example
A new shooter rolls the dice for the first time and they land on a 4 and a 2. The total is six, which becomes the “Point.” The dealers places a marker that looks like a hockey puck on the number 6 on the craps layout. The shooter must now roll a six before he rolls a 7. If he rolls the six, the passline bet wins and the shooter rolls again. This is a new comeout roll and the same procedure applies as the first time the shooter rolled the dice.

If the shooter rolls a seven before the six the pass line bet loses and the dice are passed to the next shooter.

Odds Bet
Once the point is established the bettor can make an additional bet behind the passline bet. This is known as the “Odds Bet.” It is the only bet in the casino that does not have a house edge as it is paid off with true odds.

Most casinos offer double odds, which means you can make a bet twice the size of your pass line bet. If you passline bet is $5 you are allowed to make an odds bet of $10.

The odds bet is paid as following:
If the point is 4 or 10 it pays 2 to 1
If the point is 5 or 9 it pays 3 to 2
If the point is 6 or 8 it pays 6 to 5.

A passline bet is the simplest bet you can make on at the craps table and it will get you on your way to playing this exciting game.

An easy way to learn how to play craps is to take advantage of the free lessons offered by many of the casinos. The instruction will give you the basics and also show you some of the table etiquette that will make you feels more comfortable approaching the table.

In this version, the player must use three community cards and their two hole cards to make the best hand possible. Players will receive four hole cards, which are kept to hidden from the other players until the showdown. There are also five community cards, which are used to complete the hands of every player at the table.

There are four rounds of betting, giving players the chance to stay in the game or fold. At a live table, the dealer is the starting point for play, however as there is no dealer in online poker, the dealer button represents the starting point. The player to the left of the dealer starts play and it continues clockwise around the table.

Winning Omaha poker is a simple concept; the player with the best hand takes the pot. Ties are possible in Omaha, so in the case of more than one player having a winning hand, the pot will be split equally among the players. Should there be an odd number of chips, the extra chip is given to the player closest to the left of the dealer.

Betting Blinds

When playing Omaha poker, before any cards are dealt, the blinds must be placed. The “small blind” is put in by the player to the immediate left of the dealer, and the “big blind” is placed by the person to the left of the “small blind.” The blinds are the starter money in the pot, guaranteeing a win should everyone else at the table fold in the first round of betting.

Pre-Flop

Once the blinds have been placed, the players will receive their hole cards. In this round, four cards are dealt, face down, to each player. Once they have analyzed their cards, betting begins with the player “under the gun”, which is the person to the left of the big blind. This player has three choices for play:

Call – bet the same as the big blind

Raise – increase the bet to an amount larger than the big blind

Fold – walk away from the hand

Betting continues around the table, in a clockwise motion. Once the player who put up the big blind is reached, they have an additional choice, if no one has raised the bet. The big blind can check, as their bet was the initial bet for this round. If there as already been a raise, they can choose to re-raise, call, or fold.

The Flop

Next, the dealer will place the first three community cards on the table, face up. This deal is called the “flop.” Once these cards have been shown, another round of betting will commence, with the chance to call, raise, or fold.

The Turn

This round, the dealer adds a fourth card to the community cards and players will again have the chance at a round of betting. The field at the table usually begins to shrink at this point in the hand.

The River

The dealer will now deal the fifth and final community card. From here, the final round of betting will begin and players have their last chance to call, raise, or fold.

The Showdown

After the final round of betting, those left standing that have not folded will have their showdown. Their hole cards will be revealed and the best hand will be decided. The player with the highest-ranking poker hand takes the pot, unless there is a tie. If only one player remains at the table when the showdown round is reached, the pot is theirs regardless of their hand

Keno is such a popular and exciting pastime because it offers the possibility of winning spectacular payouts on relatively small wagers. Keno can usually be played in the keno lounge, in most dining areas, or at portable keno stations on the casino floor. If players wish to play keno outside of the lounge area, keno runners circulate the casino ready to place wagers, and numerous television monitors keep players informed of the winning numbers.

The keno numbers are printed on 80 individual ping-pong balls, which are either spun around in a wire bird cage, or blown around in a large clear plastic sphere. As each ball is selected, the winning number is electronically highlighted on the keno boards throughout the casino. The house draws 20 numbers out of the field of 80. Players can choose as few as one number or as many as 15. To place bets, a keno ticket, which has boxes for all 80 numbers must be filled out. The casino provides a keno crayon, which is used to mark down the selected numbers.

PLAYING OPTIONS
A ticket can be marked with individual numbers creating a straight keno ticket, or with a group of numbers that give a better chance of winning. These are called way and combination tickets. A way ticket allows players to group different numbers (each group containing the same amount of numbers) to create more than one way to win. Players are given credit for hitting all three numbers if any one of the group hits. A combination way ticket is one in which groups of numbers are bet several different ways, allowing money to be sprinkled over more combinations. Many experienced keno players will use these methods for a wider selection of numbers with a lower minimum wager, and a better chance to win.

Minimum bets and payoffs are different from casino to casino, but this information can be found in the keno lounge or in the instruction booklet. Players present their ticket along with their wager to a keno writer, and are issued a computerized ticket with the game number, date, ticket code, choices and the amount of the bet. It is the player’s responsibility to compare the computer generated ticket to their original copy in the event of a discrepancy. Once the game is ready to start, betting will be cut off. When the 20 randomly drawn numbers are put up on the keno boards, players compare their ticket with the numbers displayed for the game played.

Multi-race keno allows multiple games to be played on one keno ticket. Most casinos allow anywhere from two to 20 games in a row, but some offer up to 1,000. The keno writer or runner must be told that a multi-race ticket is wanted. At the conclusion of the last game selected, players bring their multi-game ticket to the counter and claim their winnings from all the games played.

<![endif]-->Casino Craps (or Bank Craps), a dice game, is one of the most exciting casino games. It is common to hear yelling and shouting at a craps table. It is played on a purpose-built table and two dice are used. The dice are made after very strict standards and are routinely inspected for any damage. As a matter of course, the dice are replaced with new ones after about eight hours of use, and casinos have implemented rules in the way a player handles them.

The player must handle the dice with one hand only when throwing and the dice must hit the walls on the opposite end of the table.

Don’t bets tie when the come out roll is 12 (2 in some casinos; the ‘Bar‘ roll on the layout indicates which roll is treated as a tie).

Below is a list of the various bets you can make at craps.

Pass Line Bet – You win if the first roll is a natural (7, 11) and lose if it is craps (2, 3, 12). If a point is rolled (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) it must be repeated before a 7 is thrown in order to win. If 7 is rolled before the point you lose.

Odds on Pass Line Bet – After a point is rolled you can make this additional bet by taking odds. There are different payoffs for each point. A point of 4 or 10 will pay you 2:1; 5 or 9 pays 3:2; 6 or 8 pays 6:5. You only win if the point is rolled again before a 7.

Come Bet – It has the same rules as the Pass Line bet. The difference consists in the fact you can make this bet only after the point on the pass line has been determined. After you place your bet the first dice roll will set the come point. You win if it is a natural (7, 11) and lose if it is craps (2, 3, 12). Other rolls will make you a winner if the come poi nt is repeated before a 7 is rolled. If a 7 is rolled first you lose.

Odds on Come Bet – Exactly the same thing as the Odds on Pass Line bet except you take odds on the Come bet not the Pass Line bet.

Don’t Pass Line Bet – This is the reversed Pass Line bet. If the first roll of a dice is a natural (7, 11) you lose and if it is a 2 or a 3 you win. A dice roll of 12 means you have a tie or push with the casino. If the roll is a point (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) a 7 must come out before that point is repeated to make you a winner. If the point is rolled again before the 7 you lose.

Don’t Come Bet – The reversed Come Bet. After the come point has been established you win if it is a 2 or 3 and lose for 7 or 11. 12 is a tie and other dice rolls will make you win only if a 7 appears before them on the following throws.

Place Bets – This bet works only after the point has been determined. You can bet on a dice roll of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. You win if the number you placed your bet on is rolled before a 7. Otherwise you lose. The Place Bets payoffs are different depending on the number you bet on. 4 or 10 will pay 9:5; 5 or 9 pays 7:5, and 6 or 8 pays 7:6. You can cancel this bet anytime you want to.

Field Bets – These bets are for one dice roll only. If a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 is rolled you win. A 5, 6, 7 and 8 make you lose. Field Bets have the following different payoffs: 2 pays double (2:1) while 12 pays 3:1. Other winning dice rolls pays even (1:1).

Big Six, Big Eight Bets – Placed at any roll of dice these bets win if a 6 or 8 comes out before a 7 is rolled. Big Six and Big Eight are even bets and are paid at 1:1.

Proposition Bets – These bets can be made at any time and, except for the hardways, they are all one roll bets:

Regardless of how many people are playing, only two hands are dealt. One is designated the banker hand, the other is the player hand. Any customer may bet on either hand, with the exception that the customer holding the shoe in the full-scale game must either bet banker or pass the shoe. Do not think of the bank hand as belonging to the house or the player hand belonging to the bettor. To avoid confusion, we’ll refer to baccarat “bettors” or “customers” rather than “players.”

The Play

In full-scale baccarat, the bettor holding the shoe slides one card out and passes it facedown to the stand-up dealer, who passes it to the customer with the largest player bet. The next card, the first of the banker hand, is placed next to the shoe. The bettor then deals another player card, then the second banker card. The dealer calls for the player hand, and the customer with the largest player bet first looks at the cards, then gives them to the dealer. The dealer turns the cards faceup and announces the point total. Then the dealer calls for the banker hand, and the shoe holder looks at the cards and gives them to the dealer. If the player total requires a draw, the dealer will say, “Card for the player,” and the shoe holder will pass a card to the dealer, who will pass it to the player-bettor, who looks at it and passes it back to the dealer, who turns it faceup. Finally, if the banker requires a card, the dealer will call, “Card for the bank,” and repeat the process with the shoe holder.

The casino is more than willing to offer the time-consuming ceremony to its largest bettors. In mini-baccarat, however, the dealer plays out both hands, with no fuss and in half the time.
The object is to bet on the two- or three-card hand that totals closer to nine. Tens and face cards all are worth zero points; all other cards are worth their face value, with the ace worth one point. If a total is more than 10, the second digit is the value of the hand. For example, a 9 and a 6, which total 15, make up a five-point hand.

Initially, two cards are dealt for each hand. The point totals determine whether either hand gets a third card. The player hand is completed first. A total of 8 or 9 is called a “natural,” and the player hand gets no more cards. In fact, unless the banker has a natural 9 or ties the natural 8, no further cards are drawn, and the naturals are automatic winners. Player also stands on totals of 6 or 7. On any other total, zero through 5, player draws a third card, unless banker has a natural, in which case the bank hand wins with no further draw.

Banker rules are a bit more complex. Banker also stands on 7, 8, or 9 and draws on 0, 1, or 2, but on other hands the banker’s play is dependent on the value of the player’s third card. Banker hits 3 unless the player’s third card is an 8; hits 4 unless the player’s third card is 1, 8, 9, or 10; hits 5 only if the player’s third card is 4, 5, 6, or 7; and hits 6 only if the player’s third card is 6 or 7.

Player Hand: When first two cards total:

There are a few exceptions. A natural, as noted above, stops play with no further draws. And if the player has one of its other two standing hands, 6 or 7, bank stands on 6 as well as 7, 8, and 9.
And that’s it. Neither hand ever gets more than three cards. After the hands have been played out, the hand totaling closer to 9 wins. Winning bets are paid off at even money. Ties push — neither hand wins nor loses.

Bets on Ties

Bettors also may wager that the two hands will finish with an equal number of points. Winning bets on ties pay off at 8-1. That sounds tempting, but this wager carries a hefty 9.5 percent house edge. Avoid it.

Etiquette

As in other table games, buy chips by placing cash on the layout and asking the dealer for change. The dealer is not allowed to take money directly from players’ hands.

If you are the bettor with the largest wager on player and receive the player cards, do not look at them until both player and banker hands have been dealt. And if you hold the banker hand, do not look at the cards until the dealer has flipped the player hand faceup.

Baccarat players are allowed to keep track of the results of each hand, and most casinos provide score sheets and pencils to do so. Most players simply put an X in a column beneath “Banker,” “Player,” or “Tie.”

Strategy

This is a pure guessing game. Which hand will win? The banker hand will win slightly more often — 50.68 percent of all decisions, not including ties — giving the house its 1.36 percent edge on player bets. But the house collects a 5 percent commission on winning banker bets, leading to the 1.17 percent house edge on banker.

Mathematicians long have suspected that baccarat, like blackjack, might be vulnerable to a card-counting system. But the best system yet developed appears to yield a slight edge to the bettor on the average of about one hand per eight-deck shoe. That’s an edge not worth pursuing — to have the advantage, the customer would have to count down hand after hand after hand, without playing, until this tiny advantage came to pass. The customer would lose more in time than he’d gain in the edge, and the casino would be unlikely to hold a seat for someone spending hours without placing a bet.

For the bettor, baccarat is a game of luck plus money management. Do not make bets too large for your available bankroll, and do not increase bets when losing. Making larger bets while chasing losses is a good way to go broke fast. If you’re going to vary your bet size, increase it while winning and bring it down when losing. Set limits on your losses and stick to them.

If you sit down at a mini-baccarat table with $100, tell yourself you’re not going to leave with less than $50. Then, if you have a cold streak and you hit that $50 mark, walk away. An important part of casino survival is developing the discipline to leave a table while you still have money.

Learn to walk away with winnings, too. If you have a good run and build that $100 up to $150, try one of these two techniques. Either put the original $100 in your pocket and just play with the $50 in winnings, while keeping that $50 loss limit, or adjust your thinking to tell yourself you’ll not walk away from the table with less than $125. Then stick to it.

The longer you play a game with a negative expectation, even one as narrow as 1.17 percent, the more likely it is that the casino will grind down your bankroll. Walk away from the table with at least part of that bankroll intact — not just at baccarat, but at any casino game — and you’ll be surprised at how much more often you wind up a winner for the day.

Baccarat is not necessarily the most popular game in a casino, but it can be just as exciting as blackjack or craps. Though the organization of the game can seem strange at first, the tips in this article should have you placing bets in no time.

Roulette is one of the most awarding games in the casinos. It’s actually lots of fun and you can also win big. It’s a table game where you place your bets on various elements before the wheel is spinned. You can bet on numbers, columns, colors, odd numbers, even numbers etc. They all have different stakes.

Then the wheel is spinned. It’s a glamorous game with lots of fun and excitement. A ball is dropped to the wheel and you win or lose your bet according to the number the ball stops in the wheel.

This is an all time favorite and played by many in online casinos. Rumor is that; the odds of actually winning is the highest in Roulette.

After the first cards have been dealt, each player chooses either to HIT (get another card) or to STAND (to get no more cards, in such case the value the player has will be competing with the dealer’s hand).

All the players have played their hands, and then the dealer plays his hand out. There are strict fixed blackjack rules which do not allow the dealer to make his own decisions. One of the most important blackjack rules concerns the value of 17. This means that the dealer should draw cards until his hand reaches the value of 17 or above. Most of the time, these blackjack rules are written on the felt, saying “the Dealer Must Stand On All 17’s”.
Card Values according to Blackjack rules

* ACE – either 1 OR 11.
* 2 to 9 – values are as indicated.
* 10’s & Face cards – stand for the value of 10.

No priority is given to suits of the cards.
BLACKJACK (a NATURAL, a Natural 21) is a two card hand consisting of an Ace and a card with the value 10.
Natural beats a 3 card hand with the value of 21 (a total 21). Soft Hands & Hard Hands

As according to Blackjack rules an ACE can stand either for the value 1 OR the value 11, the risks of going over 21 gets smaller. In situations when an Ace is valued as 1, it is called a SOFT HAND. E.g. a hand comprising an ACE and a 7 – can be counted as an 8 OR 18, regarding the value given to the ACE. The choice depends upon the player, and Blackjack rules allow the player to vary it back and forth as many times as he wishes during the play of his hand.

A hand with an ACE that leaves no choice whether to use the ACE as a 1 OR 11 is called a HARD HAND. Example: If you have an ACE, 9 and 5 you can only value the ACE as 1, otherwise you would go over 21 and therefore your hand is busted. By counting the ACE as 1, the hand’s value is 15. Such hand can also be sometimes called a Stiff hand – because the probability of going over 21 is higher than that of a Soft Hand.
The player’s Choice in Blackjack Rules

After the players receive their cards, they are to make a decision on how to play their hands the most effective way. The choice may be to HIT or to STAND, to SPLIT cards if the first two received cards are of the same value, therefore making two separate hands, or to DOUBLE DOWN if the combination of the cards in the hand is likely to win the dealer’s hand. According to Blackjack rules, this can ONLY be done when a hand comprises two cards, before extra cards have been handled out. NOTE: in doubling-down the player increases his original bet two times or less (Double-Down for less) and receives ONLY one extra card.
Basic Blackjack rules options when playing out the hand
”Dealer acts strictly according to Blackjack rulesDealer acts strictly according to Blackjack rules
HIT

Receive another card from the dealer.
STAND

Receive no more cards to your hand and stop at the current hand total; this is the value that is to compete with the one of the dealer’s hand.
SPLIT

When the player gets a matching pair of cards he can divide (SPLIT) this pair into two separate hands. In this case, another wager of the same cost as the initial bet should be placed adjacent to the original stack of chips, whilst the dealer then splits the hand into two separate hands. The perfect advice is to always split a pair of aces and pairs of 8’s.
DOUBLE

If the player considers his hand to be stronger than the dealer’s hand, he always has the chance to double his initial bet size – called a DOUBLE DOWN. When you Double Down the dealer gives you only one more card. Blackjack rules limit the Doubling Down option, as it can only be done with the initial two card hand, BEFORE you are dealt additional cards. E.g.: if the first two cards are 6 and 7 – adding up to 13, whereas the dealer’s face-up card is a 6, the chances of winning the dealer’s hand are high and so you can choose to double your initial bet.
INSURANCE

The INSURANCE is offered in case the dealer’s face up card is an Ace. According to Blackjack rules it usually (but not obligatory) costs half of your initial bet, and “protects” you in case the HOLE is a ten (in such case the dealer has a Natural, and the player loses the initial bet, but receives the insurance in the amount of 2-to-1). The Dealer checks his second card (the HOLE) and in case it is a ten, the insurance is paid out.

According to Blackjack rules, if the dealer does not have a natural, you lose the insurance, and play the initial bet.
EVEN MONEY

In case the player has a blackjack, and the dealer’s face up card is an ACE, the player is usually offered “EVEN MONEY”, instead of the insurance. In case the dealer has a blackjack, instead of a PUSH (in Blackjack rules also called a TIE, a case when your hand equals dealer’s hand (except for the cases if one hand is a Blackjack and another is simply a 21 Total), and the player then receives the initial bet back)), the player receives an “even money bonus” (which is in fact an insurance with a small specification), which is a half of the initial bet.
SURRENDER

The option of SURRENDER is not offered in many casinos. It provides the player a chance to fold his hand at the cost of half of the original bet. In Blackjack rules it is stated that the decision to surrender must be taken PRIOR to playing the hand in any way. E.g. once you split, hit, double down, this option is no longer available.

The Blackjack rules provide two different kinds of surrender, EARLY and LATE.

EARLY SURRENDER gives the player an opportunity to fold his hand before the dealer checks the HOLE for a blackjack. However, this version is rarely offered, because it gives a heavy advantage to the player. Whereas a LATE SURRENDER, is more commonly met in Blackjack rules. In this variant of Blackjack rules, the dealer checks the HOLE for a blackjack and after and only if he does not have a blackjack, he allows the players to surrender.
